§ Art XXIV. Relationship with the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to the Precautionary Attachment of Aircraft

The Convention shall, for a Contracting State that is a Party to the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules Relating to the Precautionary Attachment of Aircraft, signed at Rome on 29 May 1933, supersede that Convention as it relates to aircraft, as defined in this Protocol. A Contracting State Party to the above Convention may declare, at the time of ratification, acceptance, approval of, or accession to this Protocol, that it will not apply this Article. Konvensjonen skal, for en konvensjonsstat som er part i Konvensjon om innføring av visse ensartede regler om arrest i luftfartøyer, undertegnet i Roma 29. mai 1933, gå foran nevnte konvensjon i den grad den får anvendelse på luftfartøyer som definert i denne protokoll. En konvensjonsstat som er part i nevnte konvensjon kan, på det tidspunkt denne protokoll ratifiseres, godtas, godkjennes eller tiltres, erklære at den ikke vil anvende denne artikkel.
